Geffen and I wanted to make sure Dan had a really special day. After all, he’s been looking forward to his first Father’s Day all of his life! Finally, Geffen you made that possible!
On the agenda: A massage for Dan, swimming, lunch by the pool, shopping and walking around and singing songs in the park. A beautiful day! I had a really great time watching Dan and Geffen have fun!

Remember when a trip to the pool only required a towel or a change of clothes? Me neither. I like to bring stuff with me so that I’m comfortable. However now that we have Geffen, I try not to bring all that stuff for myself because there’s so much baby stuff to carry!
For Geffen, a trip to the pool required:
diapers
wipes
baby butt cream
swimers
swim shirt
back-up swim shirt
baby sunscreen
hat
change of clothes
bath supplies
baby tent for uv protection
boppy pillow so he can sit
regular pillow so I can comfortably breastfeed
cover-up for breastfeeding
stroller
wearable baby carrier (just in case)
binky
toys
towel
baby robe
For Dan and I we brought:
a towel for each of us
Here’s the crazy part of our pool excursion…
It was freezing, so Geffen only put his toes in the water. HOWEVER, we used EVERYTHING we brought for Geffen! There was nothing we brought that we didn’t use over the couple of hours that we were at the pool!
