This work baby shower really took me by surprise. Nicole from the marketing department asked me to speak at a “client appreciation lunch” on another floor. Little did I know, it was a surprise baby shower! Dan told me he had a lunchtime appointment at a nearby building; turns out Nicole had invited him to the party and when he showed up midday, I was so confused! Boy was I surprised when my coworkers ambushed me with a baby shower in the middle of the day! They all pitched in and bought us a baby car seat! So sweet!!!!
John O’s wife knitted us a baby blanket that says “shalom.”
I laughed when he said, “Well, I hope that’s what it says!”
Melony and Pat picked up some cute baby clothes for us… and Dan bought Ugg boots for my swelling feet!
