I love you a lot in Eilat!
From the Dead Sea, Dan and I drove down to the southernmost tip of Israel: Eilat!
The first thing we saw we all these mountain goats outside of our hostel.
We stopped by the side of the road to collect some Dead Sea salt for cooking back home. It’s the best natural sea salt ever!
Then we drove to the salt cave we explored last year with Isaac and Courtney. I can’t believe we found it! We planned on going in and getting salt from the cave, but it was dark and scary so we didn’t go in very deep. Good thing we already stopped for salt along the way! Anyway, Dan and I both felt very accomplished, having found this spot.
A couple of hours later, we settled into our hotel.
View from the balcony: hotel pool, the Red Sea and Jordan in the background.
After we returned the rental car, we went directly to the pool:
In the Red Sea! So far on this trip we swam in the Aegean Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, the Dead Sea and the Red Sea!
