Dead Sea day!
Dan and I slept in a little, re-packed our bags into smaller suitcases that Yehudit let us borrow and then we were off!
First stop: gas
That’s just under $50 for about 3/4 of a tank on our tiny rented Nissan Micra. And now the road trip to the south begins! All we did today was relax at the Dead Sea. That’s it. Then we spent the night at the Ein Gedi hostel where we ate dinner and crashed out. The Israeli desert sun sure sucks the energy out of you!
Dan relaxing on the hot, comfortable sulfur pool…
…I wasn’t allowed to go in though.
Instead of the sulfur pool, I relaxed in the cool, fresh water pool.
Time to make our way down to the beach! Negative 422 meters below sea level!
Dead Sea mud time!
Lunchtime!
By the time we got to the hostel, we were so tired. We had dinner there and then both fell asleep so fast… and our skin was so smooth and soft after our mud treatments!
