First day in Israel!
Our first stop of the day was the Jerusalem mall!
Dan got a kick out of how colorful Israeli money is.
Then back to the house to pick up Omri and head to Netanya. Itay couldn’t come with us because he had to work.
Safta and Kris:
Omri joked that it looked as though safta had set the table for a Passover seder. She was so excited to see us (and we her) so she made us a really nice meal.
We gave safta a photo album from our wedding last year. She loved it.
She was also very happy to see me and my pregnant belly! Then Omri, Dan and I let safta take an afternoon nap while we went to the beach for a while.
Dan took a nap on the beach while Omri and I went swimming. This time of year I was amazed by how warm the water was!
After the beach, we went back to safta’s house to shower and to spend some more time with her before heading out to Tel-Aviv.
Afterwards, we met Yael in Tel-Aviv for dinner:
After we dropped Yael off, the 3 of us drove back to Jerusalem for the night.
