Headed to Greece!
But first, Datca:
After breakfast, the first stop of the day was a Turkish port called Datca. Before leaving the ship, the captain collected our passports because after Datca, our next stop would be in Greece. Datca is a sleepy little port city. We walked around a bit. It was really pretty but really hot.
Dan loves cats!
Next stop: Greece! We stopped at a monastery on the Greek island of Symi. There wasn’t a lot to see, but we explored anyway, and then jumped in the turquoise blue water for a swim.
I was asked to cover up at the monastery. Dan thought I looked funny.
Dan finds another cute cat!
Back to the boat, and into the Greek waters for a swim!
Then we briefly relocated to ANOTHER spot for more swimming and lunch:
Later, we had time to take showers and freshen up as we sailed to the other side of Symi island. There were a lot of shops and restaurants to explore before we returned to the boat for dinner:
We came across a crazy cat lady with 12 cats on her porch and Dan had a great time petting them.
We had dinner on the boat at 8pm… buy 9pm, I was absolutely wiped out. This combination of jet lag and pregnancy equals extreme fatigue! I went to sleep. Dan hung out with our new international friends for a bit before joining me.
