Fun day with the Reinherzes!
Dan and I spent the afternoon at his brother’s place with Mary and the kids. His dad and Harriet were also there. We wanted to surprised them with the news of our pregnancy, but Dave and Robert had already sort of guessed ahead of time (all those trips to the doctor with me on the calendar they share for work sort of gave it away).
The best part of the visit was when we told everyone about the baby in my belly… and Jason asked, “How did it get in there?” Classic. I had to refer that question to his mom. Mary told him through the belly button!
Haha! Welcome to the “Where do I come from?” stage of the nieces’ and nephews’ questions!
Anyway, we spent a little time at the park at an animal fair before heading back to the house. Jason and Allison loved it! (and so did we!) Here are the pics:
We ran into celebrities — like Elwood, the world famous “Ugliest Dog in America.”
I was going through a totally exhausted phase at this time… and I remember after we got back from the park I fell asleep on Dave and Mary’s couch! Ah, pregnancy.
