Aviva, Leo, Ellie: Winter Playdate

January 16, 2012

On a brisk, but sunny day!

I was missing Aviva, Leo and Ellie. I felt as though it had been a while since we had a playdate, so I came over to get my neices/nephew fix. I’m also taking a photography class over at Fleisher so the kids were my “models” for the day. I’m loving my photography editing tools; here are the pics and videos from our day of fun!

I started off playing just with Leo until Aviva and Ellie came home. Leo and I played wiffleball, soccer and swings in the backyard.

It wasn’t long before Ellie and Aviva joined in on the fun!

It was chilly outside, so we all headed indoors to warm up and do some crafts:

Soon, we decided to head out to the park. The kids actually asked me to take them. I guess they’re associating their nearby park with my visits, since that’s where we usually go to play! It was cold, so we bundled up with hats and gloves. (I even borrowed a pair of Aviva’s gloves!) We wanted to take advantage of the limited daylight hours.

Aviva and Leo rode their bikes and I pushed Ellie in her push-car. On our way, we came across several people walking their dogs. Ellie was enthusastic and jumped out to pet the dogs. She told the owners that “they love me.” Super cute!

Finally, at the park! Everyone’s ready to play, climb and swing!

Afterwards, I took all three kids for ice cream:

Aviva was loving her “purple” ice cream. (She saw that flavor in a photo on the menu and had to eat it, it’s her favorite color!)

By the time we finished with ice cream, it was dark out. Jen came and picked us up in the car. She had also picked up some sushi for dinner. The kids loved that we ate ice cream before dinner. We joked that we ate ice cream for dinner and sushi for dessert. Soon, it was time for bedtime stories and bed. The day just flies by when I play with those kids!

Fun! You can tell they are related to you. The Kuznits genes are strong. Cute!
