With Jason and Allison’s family!
On the fourth night of Hannukah, Dan’s dad (grandpa Robert) and Harriet took the kids to go see the Disney princesses on ice show during the day. Afterwards, they came over to our house for Hannukah and dinner.
Dave and Mary joined us a little later. In the meanwhile, we lit the Hannukah candles and opened presents!

Then we got ready for Shabbat (Dan made the challah from scratch!):
Soon, Dave and Mary arrived and we all sat down for dinner.
After dinner the kids got one more present to open! Yay, we all love presents!
Dan made dessert — chocolate cake and suvganiot FROM SCRATCH!:
Dan played piano, Robert played piano… and then the kids played piano, too:
There was so much to do… Allison and Jason chased the cats a little bit, fed them cat snacks and pet them. (Our cats seem to be a big hit with every child who comes to the house! It’s so cute how much kids love cats!)
Anyway, we had an awesome meal with great company.
