I love parties!
In order to make it to Jeremy and Melanie’s rehearsal dinner in Sandwich, MA Dan and I had to leave Philly early. Originally, I didn’t think I’d be able to leave work in time, but was later able to switch my reporting shift to morning drive instead of dayside. It’s been a long time since I had to do those morning hours (3am-11am) but it was totally worth it.
Dan and I left around noon and I was able to get some sleep in the car.
We arrived at our guest house with just enough time to drop off our stuff, change our clothes and make it to Jeremy and Melanie’s wedding rehearsal dinner on time!
It was an entertaining rehearsal dinner with a lot of speeches from family and friends — and a singing duet with Dan’s uncle Joey (the groom’s dad) and Melanie (the bride). I was so tired after that. Time to go home and get ready for the wedding tomorrow!
