My Bachelorette Party

June 25, 2011

Atlantic City, Baby!

For my Bachelorette Party, which was one week before the big day, I gathered some of my closest friends for a big party in Atlantic City! Here we are at the Tropicana Casino and Resort. That’s where they have The Quarter (which is a section of the hotel that has lots of clubs and restaurants) and lots of shopping (that we took advantage of on Sunday). Anyway, this is us checking in!

Once we settled into our rooms, Tali got the party started with a “bride scavenger hunt” for me!

The Tropicana is next door to the Chelsea Hotel , home to Atlantic City’s only outdoor party pool. We got a cabana so that we could eat, drink, dance and swim all afternoon!

Tali made a list of “missions” for me do, sort of like a scavenger hunt. One of my assignments was to jump behind the DJ booth — so I did!

The food was awesome…

…and the company was excellent!

Pool time!

And of course no trip to the Jersey shore is complete unless you actually go to the shore — the beach, that is!

While we were there we go so excited to see a wedding on the beach!

We went back to our rooms to rest and to hang out. The plan was to take a disco nap, but of course with all my friends around we did a lot of talking, joking and laughing instead!

Soon it was time for Happy Hour at the room! We set up some drinks and snacks at our room at the Tropicana for a little pre-party before the club.

I’m the bride!!!!!! Tali made a veil for me and a wand!

Off to the club! We went to Dusk at the Ceasars hotel in Atlantic city.

Once we left Tropicana, we hailed “pedi cabs” on the boardwalk to take us to Ceasars:

Finally, at Dusk! We got a bottle service table where we danced and danced!

Outside the club…

And back into the pedi cabs for the boardwalk ride back to the Tropicana!

Late night pizza!

The next day…

We could see the big Tropicana sign from our hotel window. We could also see the Chelsea pool from up there!

Anyway, the next day we checked out and headed back to the Chelsea to have brunch at Teplitzky’s…

where we started the morning with bloody marys and mimosas…

And the Big Teplitzky’s brunch!

They have a salt water pool at that diner — bring your bathing suit, they let you swim!

…and back to The Quarter (in the Tropicana) for some shopping!

I have such great friends! A successful bachelorette party, and a wonderful time had by all!

A great big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this weekend so perfect and special for me!!!!!!! :)
