At Hang Free!
Memorial Day in Philadelphia is all about barbecues and friends.
One of my favorite summertime activities is Hang Free, run by my friend Andrew, who describes the daytime party as “DJs in the Park.”
It’s a bi-annual party in Fairmount Park every Memorial and Labor Day, bookending summer.
Speaking of summer… I’m following up on my annual mission to find the best pool. From Atlantic City to Philly, that seems to be the thing. In Philly, everyone’s got that friend who about this time of the year starts posting the facebook photos of them on their roofdeck. In Atlantic City, the promoters are pushing the hotel pool parties. Mix in some sun, a cocktail, and you have the perfect summer day!
I’m so glad it’s finally summer! There will be lots to do outside and in the area…. stay tuned…
