Massada and Ein Gedi
We didn’t get much sleep, as the next morning we got up with the sun to climb Massada and watch the sunrise from the fortress. Dan and I got up a little late when our alarm clock didn’t go off…. then, it was a mad dash to climb that mountain! As soon as I caught a glimpse of that sunrise, I started snappping photos. Courtney and Isaac had already climbed to the top by then.

And then, when we were done as Massada, we had to climb back down…
Back to the guest house for breakfast at 8am:
And then a little pool time before hiking in Ein Gedi:
Then we loaded all our stuff in the car, checked out of the guest house, and drove over to Nachal David for an easy hike with lots of waterfalls!
Then we found a swimming hole!!!!
After changing into dry clothes we got into the car and drove up north:
It was a long drive. We stopped by vegetable stands along the way.
Past the Keneret:
Once in Tsfat, we needed to call our guest house for directions and I needed to plug in my cell phone to make the call. Dan and ended up walking to a community center… there we heard music and found a music studio! The guys there let me plug in my phone… when I turned around, Dan was jamming with the band!
We ended the day with shwarma up in Tsfat!
