Science Demo

Drexel Makes Science Fun…

I was out covering this story for work about these science demonstrations at Drexel University by Drexel and Penn students.

One team of students was conducting experiments with ice cream. As part of the demo, they poured liquid nitrogen over mini marshmallows to illustrate how temperature changed the properties of food. I thought it was really cool and wanted to shoot a video but my battery died… so the team leader Philipp shot this video for me on his iphone and sent me the link. What fun, huh? Those white things I’m eating/breathing through are super frozen mini marshmallows.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I LOVE MY JOB!!!
