Playdate: Aviva, Leo, Ellie

October 18, 2010

Another day at the park

I rode the train out on my day off to the suburbs where Tamir and Jen live to go and play with my nieces and nephew. Tamir was at work and Jen was doing some stuff at home so it was just me and the kids for a couple of hours.

It was a beautiful fall day so we decided to get outside and take the bikes (and a little ride along push toy for Ellie) to the park.

Playtime!

Aviva suggested we play the “hanging off the money bar” game. She went first and she did great!

Next, it was Leo’s turn to see how long he could stay on the bar:

Aviva wanted me to try next, so I took a turn too, while Aviva got behind the camera and recorded me:

Even Ellie took a turn:

Back to the swings!

Aviva is such a sweet big sister!

It got dark so fast! We were only outside for a little over an hour. The kids did so great, though — they listened and stayed together and waited to cross the street until I told them it was safe. We got back home for dinner and some more playtime; then it was time for bed and Caroline stories. Sweet dreams!
