Second Annual Ride
Thousands turned out for the second annual Philly Naked Bike Ride!
There’s nothing like doing something crazy and silly with friends.
The ride is all about empowering bicyclists. The naked part gets everyone’s attention, shows how vulnerable bicyclists are on the road, in an effort to encourage motoists to share the road. Of course when thousands of naked bicyclists ride together on the streets of Philadelphia it’s sure to get everyone’s attention… and with so many out on the street, it was one day the cars had to move over for the bikes.
We wandered over the body painting tent. Instead of wearing clothes, bicyclists wore body paint!
And we’re off!!!
Here we go around the Art Museum Circle!
Dan was such a great sport to do this bike ride with me.
We saw a Kid Rock look-alike. He was literally rocking out with his *$%@ out!
So many people participated!
