This is summer!
Concerts in the Park is one of the things I really love about summers in Philly. It’s basicly live music in Rittenhouse Square. Everyone comes out, brings a blanket, snacks and drinks and hangs out. I often run into friends, and it’s just nice to enjoy the green space surrounded by sky scrapers.
On this particular Wednesday night “Concerts in the Park” event, my friend Ken invited me, but I was having a really slow night and by the time I got to the park, the concerts were practically over. It was nice to hang out, though. It was the first time I’d seen him since our trip to Turkey (man, what a trip!!!!) so we had fun catching up at a nearby bar with him and some of his friends. Oh, how I love summer in Philly! :)
