Jerusalem to Tel-Aviv and back
Woke up early to catch a ride with Yehudit to Tel-Aviv in order to meet Yael.
Yael met me in Tel-Aviv and we headed over to the center of town. Here’s a shot of the promenade, from the car window:
It was so great to see her, again!
We did a little shopping and then met up with Ido, another friend of mine.
After some walking, shopping, catching up and laughing, we met up with Yehudit and I convinced Ido to come play with us in Jerusalem.
Back at my aunt and uncle’s house, we spontaneously set up a feast in the backyard.
And then helped my aunt set up a facebook account (I think my cousins had been putting off helping her figure out FB because they found it awkward to “friend” their mom. I’m gonna suggest them as friends! Haha!)
Omri joined us in town as we hunted for frozen yogurt (seriously, I had been dreaming about Israeli frozen yogurt for like a month, now).
Omri introduced us to an awesome hummus spot.
Later, Gal stopped by to visit. I hadn’t seen him in 15 years!
It was so nice of him to drive out, especially since he was leaving for Eilat the next day. Wow, what nostalgia.
