Dinner, Deck, Daytime.
I’m having the most wonderful time exploring these Turkish ports!
As the sun began to fade and I woke up from my nap, I could smell the barbecue they were cooking on the deck grill; tonight, a meat medley!
Sunset was cocktail hour with champagne and fresh peeled peaches.
Dinner!
Our crew served us lambchops and meatballs and beef sausages:
I love our dinners on the boat. We sit and talk and laugh for a long time. Dinner is the event of the night; and then, when we eat so much that we are stuffed, we move to the deck mattresses and lay down and talk and look at the stars.
I slept on the deck again last night, talking with my new friends until I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore, watching for shooting stars.
In the morning, the sun was my alarm clock.
That pillow and blanket in the middle of the photo was where I slept:
This was the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes:
Captain, Koray, Clare:
Marlo, Ava:
Allison, Carol, Steve:
Ken, Sue, Alexis, Ken:
Tim and Marie:
Off to the next port! We just finished eating breakfast and I can already smell lunch being cooked. I’m going to go change into my bathing suit and put sunblock on and enjoy the sun. I’ll be ready for a swim when we dock in about an hour or so!
