Happy Birthday, Dad!
By the time I got to mom and dad’s house, everyone had eaten and my nieces and nephews were watching tv. I sat down for a bit and ate, and as the kids started to run around in the house, I thought wouldn’t it be fun to run outside? Mom and dad have a pool in the back so we took over the front lawn.
Isaac, Courtney and I started playing with the kids.
I tried to teach the kids to play “baby in the air” but it was a little too complicated for their age. Then, Courtney had a great idea to take it really basic and play a little “red light, green light.” That turned out to be a huge hit! It was cute to see the kids slowly pick up on the rules (you go and then you stop)! Eventually, everyone came outside and got involved! (Even mom ran and played a little with us!)
It was a lot of fun to play outside!
