Penn Relays

I have the best job ever.

On Thursday, I went out to Franklin Field in University City to cover the opening day of the Penn Relays for work, probably the biggest track and field meet in the country.

Then on Saturday, I went out there again to cover the final day of the event. It was a gorgeous day, so I rode mike bicycle out there. Not only was it fun, but it was one of the top stories of the day.

There was a huge crowd on Saturday.

That’s because Olympic Gold Medalist Usain Bolt, aka “The Fastest Man In The World” was in attendance.

Of course he won that race. Here he is taking a victory lap; he’s the one in the middle in yellow:

It was pretty cool to see him run. The crowd went wild for him!
