Going Out
It’s been a bit of a stressful week, so I just wanted to include this fun photo of Saturday night.
I finally got to meet my good friend Stuart’s gf Saturday night when a group of us went out to dinner. She’s such a nice person. Stuart put her on a matchmaking mission for me and she’s totally on it! He’s a good friend. He said he thought of her since she works at a hospital with a lot of eligible doctors. She came to dinner practically prepared with a list. I don’t know if anything will come if it, but he’s a good friend and I appreciate the gesture.
It turns out she and Allison work at the same hospital! Stuart joked that with so many medical professionals at the table, there’s no risk of anyone getting hurt tonight!
During the evening, Stuart talked about his new nephew. It was the cutest thing. He’s so smitten with him; he whipped out the photos and everything! I’ve never seen him like this. I totally get it though. I feel the same way about my nieces and nephews. It was so great to see him like that.
After dinner, Allison convinced me to stay out (don’t waste the pretty!) and we went dancing at Vango. We bumped into Master Jay and his light-up roller skates. Love it. Laughing and having a good time on the dance floor is always a highlight.
As we capped off the night at one of the Rittenhouse cafes, we couldn’t help but pose with the Phanatic in the park. One goodnight kiss (see photo, above), before heading off to bed!
