Congrats, Grads!
The Newsstudies graduation took place Tuesday evening… as my boss Steve pointed out to the students, for some of the high school seniors who participated, it’s “practice” for their upcoming commencement ceremonies.

Legendary Broadcaster Larry Kane was the keynote speaker:
I love it when he freaks the kids out by walking into the crowd to interview them.
I also said a few words and gave out the Outstanding Achievement Awards to the kids. (Steve, Marc Rayfield and Shelly Kanther are also there on the stage.)
Afterwards, there were refreshments and the Franklin Institute even kept some of their exhibits open for us. Dennis, Pat and I couldn’t resist walking through the Franklin Institute’s legendary “giant heart.”
