A visit to a Camden Elementary School
I went off to Camden to do a news story on the Harlem Globetrotters.
After I interviewed them, they told me I should jump into a photo with them — so I jumped!
They’re such a nice group of guys. I loved the way they played with the kids. It seemed like they had a lot of fun.
Here they are showing some kids and a teacher how to do some basic tricks. I love their mascot “globie” on the side, there.
Those kids were so excited!
Especially when some of the players sat among them.
Of course the kids I interviewed told me after their Globetrotter assembly that they want to be Harlem Globetrotters when they grow up too, and play with the guys on their team.
