A Food Competition
I was a judge at Philadelphia Magazine’s tenth annual “Philly Cooks” competition!
There were about 5 tables of judges. Each table judged different dishes. I sat with a whole bunch of fun foodies! They were so knowledgeable — I felt like the “regular person” at the table.
It was amazing how many dishes we had to judge as a group:
It was fun.
Then it was off to mingle and taste all the other food as the guests started to file in.

I interviewed Tracy Seng of Philly Mag about the event. She was a fantastic interview.
It was cool to see how some of the dished were made — like avacado black bean soup…
…and homemade gelato!
But this guy was the best — “DJ Chef” cooked while playing music! He was great!
