Motorcycle Show

January 24, 2010

Vrooom!

Mike and I headed up to New York for the day to go gawk at the motorcycles at the 2010 NYC Cycle World International Motorcycle Show.

We took the bus up there.

Once at Penn Station, Mike keyed up the GPS on his iphone and we saw that the venue was about a 15 minute walk away, so we walked over. It was so easy!

Mike liked the electric scooter…

And there were all kinds of crazy looking bikes there.

They even had a tribute police bike to fallen Philadelphia police officers.

They also had crazy looking motorcycle cars.

I liked the BMW motorcycles.

Mike liked this one… it made him dream of road tripping.

Then we ventured into Mike’s favorite section… the Triumph bikes!

Mike was excited to run into some Philly motorcyclers — the guys from Christini bikes:

Afterwards, we walked to Times Square.

We went to dinner at this awesome Cuban place, saw a comedy show, and hopped the Chinatown bus back home after a long day in New York.
