Happy 2010!
The day started with some news reporting… as I headed down to Penns Landing to talk with people ice skating and watching the fireworks. This year, there was an early fireworks display at 6pm in addition to the midnight show. There were a couple of mummers entertaining the crowd with music, giving folks a sort of a preview of the parade. What’s more “New Year’s Eve” than this shot of the mummers watching the fireworks?
Finished up my work in the studio, changed clothes and met up with Mike and friends. We stashed his car and headed up to Sam and Tommy’s party.
Then it was off to Zee Bar:

Ouchie, feet; but we danced some more anyway…
Of course you can’t forget a champagne toast at midnight:
