Jen needs a break
Jen sent me off to the little kid manicure-pedicure shop where Aviva got her nails done.

I don’t know if this is the kind of pampering Jen would like to encourage, but I think she REALLY wanted a bit of a break.
It cracked me up, though how there’s actually a place specifically for kids to get pampered.
Anyway, it was good, quality aunt-niece time.
Aviva’s eyes nearly popped out of her head when she found the costume closet in the back!

And there was even a runway for her to walk. (I guess this is for the costumed princesses at their birthday parties.)
Then, she and I got some ice cream…

And when I got back to the house, I took both Aviva and Leo out for a tour of the Halloween decorations in the neighborhood.

I snuggled them up in their wagon with a big fluffy blanket, and what helped to keep them interested (and sitting in the wagon) were the snacks that I brought along with me on our walk!
We encountered some friendly dogs long the way…

Jen who had taken baby Ellie with her for a few hours of freedom, didn’t return home until after Tamir got home. Ha, can you blame her?
