This was a fun party at the Loews Hotel. It was a huntdown for the best cocktail, and there were oven a dozen contenders. I was asked to judge the competition — the above photo was of all of us judges. Can you tell we had a been working hard with all those tastings by the time this was taken. Outside, there was more food and sweets.
One of the waiters said to me, “make sure you try some, don’t just take a picture!” And I did. Yum.
