I should’ve brought my bathing suit!
Mike and I got up really early after my karaoke birthday to go meet Tamir, Jen and their kids at the beach! It was a really nice day; I thought it would be chilly though, so I didn’t bring my bathing suit.
We played and watched the kids play.
Mike got into it, too. This was my favorite photo from the day. It’s so funny and cute how little Leo gravitates to adult men. I’ve played with him since he was born — but when Mike is around, (and Mike is new to him) he wants to be next to Mike. It’s so cute!
The other thing I thought was pretty cool from this day was Aviva showcasing her writing skills in the sand. I was playing with them and suggested we write their names in the sand. Little Aviva who is three and a half years old and doesn’t even go to school yet, wrote her own name in the sand! I knew she wrote it because I watcher her, but it sure looks like and adult wrote her name!
Late in the day, mom and dad came to the beach, too. We walked back to the house Tamir’s family was renting. I carried Aviva because she didn’t have shoes and we ran to the door to be first. What a beautiful house! Then Mike and I had to go — I had to get back to work! We stopped for sandwiches and he dropped me off just in time to work my evening shift.
