Oh. My. God. I’m soooo full!
Chefame was so much fun! Founders Jesse Middleton and Bart Mroz came up with the idea to clear out a restaurant and host a Top Chef / Iron Chef style cooking competition. They asked me, party promoter Tommy Up and Felicia D’ambrosio from the City Paper to judge the competition.

There were about 100 people in the restaurant, Tavern 17 at the Warwick hotel. The three competing chefs each created 3 dishes — a scallop dish, a chicken dish and a beef dish — so everyone ate a 9-course meal! 900 dishes were served, altogether!
It was quite a night. A winner was announced for each course/round. Here’s Jesse announcing the ultimate winner:
