Sum-sum-summertime!
Mike and I drove down to Avalon just for the day.
He has friends who have a shore house down there, so after my Sunday morning dance class, we hopped in the car and went to the beach.
I met some of his friends. The rest weren’t there at the house yet, so we decided to walk to the beach and explore the water.
There were a surprising amount of vicious flies on the beach. They bite! Mike was on fly swat duty.
And he was a really great sport about the neverending photos I wanted to take of us. Here are the highlights:
Later, we met up with Mike’s friends Rich and Ashley. It was her birthday. Happy birthday, Ashley!
And then, we drove back to Mike’s house. The next day, we did some bike riding out to the suburbs. We took the train back to the city. Here we are with our bicycles:
Once in town, we decided last minute to go do a little karaoke at Yakitori Boy. We rode our bikes over, and finished off the weekend with a couple of fun songs!
