Philly to Tel-Aviv
Here I am with the Doryon family at the airport, as they prepare to hop a 12-hour flight back home.
I’ll admit, I was sad to see them go.
Inspired by the “gift bag culture” of the Philly Mag party, I decided to construct my own gift bags for Yehudit, Doryon, Omri, Itay and Neta. I put things in there that I would like to be given myself on a long flight — like fruit, chocolate, playing cards, gamebooks, a pen, toothbrush, travel deodorant, hair rubberbands, cookies, etc. The looks on their faces when they got to the airport and saw my presents was just awesome. I told them to think of me every time they rummage through their gift bags for goodies and games. I hope you all had a great flight! Come back soon!
Safta stays in Philly for one more week.
