Go Ruby, Go!
Okay, so I don’t LOVE this photo of me, but I really love Ruby…
I was at work (hence the microphone on the table). I added her onto my schedule after realizing she was in Philly for her “Walk Across America” tour, as part of the promotion for the start of her new reality show TV season on the Style network. (Her show is called “Ruby”.)
If you’ve never heard of Ruby, basicly, she’s a southern belle who lost a lot of weight. I mean A LOT of weight. Can you believe this woman was once 716 pounds??? I think she’s about 350 in this photo. Anyway, despite her weight issues, she’s a really upbeat, happy person. I love her personality. She’ll just sit and talk to anyone. I saw her really connecting with all her fans who were waiting for her autograph.
She’s very open about her weight — but doesn’t want to tell anyone her age. Go figure. My guess would be late 30′s.
Anyway, if you want to hear my podcast with Ruby, here it is. I found her to be quite fascinating. Man, 716 pounds!!!! Go Ruby!
