I hadn’t been to a concert in forever; so when Gretchen told me Lady Gaga was playing at the Electric Factory, I said, “Let’s go!!!”
That Lady Gaga “Let’s Dance” song was like the theme song to our Miami trip, so it was really awesome to check her out. Ever since it was clear we were going, I downloaded her music onto my ipod shuffle and was listening to it while running through the streets of Philadelphia on my workouts.
Instead of trying to push through the crowd, we decided to watch from the balcony. That was the over-21 section but everyone up there was already sooooo annoyingly wasted.
What WAS cool, was watching everyone’s outfits. Lady Gaga of course looked awesome. She wore some pretty crazy outfits as a performer, like a dress made of balloons. Other outfits by people who were NOT performing: a leotard with a jacket and heels, matching American Eagle gear and lots and lots of neon. Yeah, that was fun.
We tried to take a photo of me and Gretch with the background of the show, but the stage didn’t come out.
It was fun, though. I think her album will be my theme for the upcoming summer. I have a lot of running to do. That’s a lot of plays on the ipod shuffle!
