Morning adventure

Our stay in Krabi was a quick one, but we did have one morning to take advantage of, so we went on a kayaking tour.
The scenery was beautiful but it went kind of slow. Allison and I wanted to do a little more kayaking than we actually ended up doing.
In addition to the kayaking, we also stopped and took a tour of one of the caves; it was quite similar to the Ha Long bay cave trip in Vietnam.
Met a couple of really young Dutch guys with whom we ate lunch. There was another older Dutch couple there. I’m sure they were nice, but the man rubbed me the wrong way when he smoked at the cave tour and left his butt there so that the guide had to come and clean it up after him. I find that to be so rude. We’re guests. We shouldn’t leave our trash at these beautiful sites! Plus, smoking is just eeewwww.
After the tour, we got dropped aff at the pier, where we found a combination used book shop/internet cafe. We were told we had a ferry to Ko Pi Pi at 2:00, but when we arrived here at 1:35, we were told we just missed the 1:30 ferry and we’d have to wait for the 3:00 ride. So now Allison and I are typing as the precious daylight hours dwindle away. I hope we make it to the beach before sunset.
This trip is so much fun, and it’s just flying by so fast!
Anyway, it’s about time to start boarding the boat. We’ll have two hours of hanging out on the deck before we get to our new island destination. I have a new book I picked up at the book exchange shop at the port. Gotta run, don’t want to miss this ride!
Later…
We had a seat on the inside of the boat here:
But we didn’t want to sit there for the 2-hour cruise to Ko Phi Phi… we choose to sit here, instead…

Ah, vacation!
