Competitive Board Gaming

After ice skating, Marlo and I went over to Nigel’s for a laid-back night of board games. He pulled out the “Philadelphia” Monopoly game which had properties like the “Italian Market” the “Liberty Bell,” “Lincoln Financial Field” and “City Hall” on it. It started off as a calm, relaxed night…
We had planned on playing Monopoly in the early part of the night and then switching over to the Wii… meanwhile, 5 hours later, the calm game turned into a battle as we got into it and started taking it pretty seriously!
I have to say though, I learned so much about negotiating, watching Nigel play. He’s an incredibly skilled negotiator, which translates into real life. I’m not surprised at all that he’s turning into a bit of a real-estate mogel! Go Nigel!
