Convention Floor Madness!
Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell chats with me about the DNC, Obama vs. Clinton, and the convention floor seating chart.
Here I am on the floor again, all the way up in the front. The Convention is more than just the headline speakers — it’s a whole day of speakers with musical acts thrown in there, too. All the activity just pumps up the crowd.
I did a lot of running back and forth between the Convention Floor and the Press Box in the Penthouse of the Center. Here I am with Philadelphia broadcasting legend Larry Kane, who was providing political commentary for the DNC. I really enjoyed working with him. He’s an easy-going newsman who knows his stuff! Here, you get a glimpse into his personality. Super nice guy.
Post-Hillary Clinton, all the news organizations went live to talk about the convention and analyze her speech. I ran back down to the Convention Floor, to find Katie Couric in a live broadcast.
Finally, at the end of Day 2, I find people dressed up in the crazy DNC constumes I had heard so much about!
