The Madness Continues
The days at the DNC were so long. It started off with the breakfast meetings at the Pennsylvania Delegation hotel at 7am. I was stationed at the “overflow” hotel, about 20 miles away so my alarm clock went off at 5:30am. I’d snooze until just before 6am and leave at about 6:30 or 6:45. This is where I’d get a feel for what the delegates were discussing and pick up the story I’d use for the afternoon “Reporter’s Roundup” show. Sometimes though, I’d just find silly stuff. That was the stuff I’d post on the blogs…
Veteran Philadelphia newsman Larry Kane was on assignment with me at the Democratic National Convention. He was so much fun to work with!
