Israel Turns 60: PART EIGHT

May 10, 2008

Moshav Gibton

During the actual day of Israeli Independence Day, Grace and I went to Moshav Gibton where my second cousin lives with her family. They were preparing for a picnic.

Hungry?

Yael picks us up and we meet up with Yogev and my friend Keren. Everyone’s hungry…

Hummus

…So we go to this great Hummus restaurant in Tel-Aviv.

The Port

Keren walks us to the Tel-Aviv port. This is the Tel-Aviv version of the Boardwalk.

More Port

It’s never-ending!

The Beach!

And of course, the Port ends/begins at the beach.

Coffee

Grace stays at the hotel while I stay at Yael’s to hang out and catch up. The next morning, we go for coffee.
